Step over it? Over it? Now it feels mixed up. It's getting stormy and big. What is that? A feeling? That must be it, it's there: anger. Anger is roaring and sometimes scary, but it's good. It shows me where to go and I take you with me: This is my line, this is where it ends. You can step in front of it, sometimes on it, but not over it, please be careful. This is my boundary, where is yours? Ceren Oran was born in Istanbul, studied contemporary dance at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance and has since worked as a freelance dancer, choreographer and sound painter. Her works for young audiences have been shown nationally and internationally on prominent stages and at festivals. She is the winner of the City of Munich's TANZ 2022 funding award and will be working at the Schauburg for the first time in the 2024/25 season. Together with the players of the ensemble, she will develop a movement theater that combines elements of contemporary dance with those of drama and deals with one's own and other people's boundaries, the negotiation of rules and anger as orientation.
