 August 01 to September 29, 2022 / 6 pm + 8 pm, depending on day and place Katrin Schafitel MÄRML öffentlicher Raum MÄRML shimmers in all possible shades of red from pale pink to bright red to deep purple. Through the openings of its expansive fabric texture, it encourages voyages of discovery into its interior.... Composed of used coats sewn together, it is ready for new adventures. MÄRML is the name Katrin Schafitel has given to the new costume-object by textile artist Robert Kis, with which and through which she moves in public space and explores its peculiarities. The performer creates unimagined and very fleeting fabric-human combinations in dance - quasi second sculptures - which form a different shape again from every perspective. An invitation to the passers-by to let themselves be surprised and captivated by this multiform living being...
