OPEN CALL Open Studios 2026 From January 26 to February 8, 2026, we invite emerging choreographers to use the studios of Tanztendenz München to try out and exchange ideas without production pressure. Ceren Oran is invited to the Tanzplattform 2026 and received the FAUST award Ceren Oran's production for young audiences, “Spiel im Spiel”, has been selected as one of 13 dance pieces for the Dance Platform in Dresden/Hellerau in March 2026. [ more ] She also received the German theater award DER FAUST 2025 in the category of directing theater for young audiences for the production of “Gute Wut” at the Schauburg München. Congratulations! [ more ] FOR EXCHANGE + South German artist exchange For exchange+/Netzwerk Tanz Süd is the association of the independent dance scenes in the cities of Munich, Nuremberg, Mannheim, Freiburg, Stuttgart and Bamberg. Since 2022, they have been working to improve the working conditions of independent dance professionals, to create structural conditions for sustainable artistic exchange and to strengthen the position of contemporary dance in southern Germany. Five further residencies will follow in the network's partner cities : Olena Polianska, Mira Mann and Alina Belyagina from Munich will be working on “The Mechanic of Support” in Freiburg from September 16 to 26 [ mehr ] Quindell Orton will be pursuing the project “Stripped: A Queer Assembly” in Mannheim from December 7 to 13, 2025 [ more ] |
