NOISE/NOICE (Open Studio Version) Tanztendenz München
NOISE/NOICE by Paula Rosolen / Haptic Hide is a reflection on a contemporary dilemma: noise.
Inspired by the Futurist movement of the early 20th century, Rosolen – together with three
performers – seeks a physical expression of this omnipresent phenomenon, which spans from
social media to the political conflicts of our time. She asks to what extent noise reflects social and
historical change – not only in terms of sound but also in forms we cannot hear, yet can see or
feel.
On this occasion, the team shares their creative process in an open lecture-performance format
that invites curious audiences to immerse themselves in the artistic universe of the work and
engage directly with the artists. The focus lies on the processes behind the creation: movement
research through specific tasks and archival materials, as well as the development of the piece in
dialogue with music and visual elements.
