INSIGHT INTO CHOREOGRAPHIC THINKING
The STANDPUNKT.e series – welcome to my world focuses on the subtexts of artistic work, presenting choreographic thinking in an open, personal format. Rather than presenting a finished production, choreographers provide insights into their artistic backgrounds, sources of inspiration and working methods.
During a week-long residency, the invited artists create two public events, each dedicated to their respective contexts and methods.This gives the audience new perspectives on contemporary dance, as well as the people, thoughts, objects and things that are central to the artists’ respective choreographic practices.
This format was developed by Tanztendenz in 2009 especially for the schwere reiter venue.
