The Tanztendenz has an important and extensive archive on Munich's dance history since 1987, particularly on the independent scene. Press materials, advertising materials, newspaper articles, photos, posters, videos, programmes, flyers, postcards, reports and letters are examples of the diverse archive materials held by Tanztendenz. With the publication of its dance calendar from 1995 onwards, Tanztendenz has also documented over 28 years of dance programming. This has also yielded numerous valuable materials on Munich's dance history.

The digital archive is currently still under construction and is being continuously expanded. The first collections are already available online, including materials on the STANDPUNKT.e format, which provide an insight into the work of Tanztendenz and the Munich independent dance scene. Further materials and formats will be added gradually.
