Open Call: OPEN STUDIOS 2027
From January 18 to 31, 2027, we are inviting emerging choreographers to use the rehearsal spaces at Tanztendenz München for the 15th time.
We offer choreographers who are just starting out in their creative careers a space to experiment, where they can try out new ideas and exchange thoughts without the pressure of a production.
The goal of the Open Studios is not to develop a finished piece, but rather to begin testing out ideas and approaches.
→ At least 4 hours of rehearsal time per day per participant
→ Upon request, choreographers from Tanztendenz München e.V. are available as mentors
→ Up to €400 per project for travel and lodging (upon submission of receipts)
→ Assistance with finding lodging is available.
Coordination and Selection:
Stephan Herwig, freelance choreographer, member of Tanztendenz
Application deadline: 16 November, 2026
