Anima Henn: Skirts in fur, unwinding
Revival: Friday, January 16, and Saturday, January 17, 8:00 p.m.
“Skirts in Fur, Unwinding” is a poetic exploration of loneliness and the power of imagination. What happens when boredom gives rise to fantasy worlds? When loneliness sheds its skin, multiplies – and suddenly begins to create its own company?
At the center is a woman who sheds her loneliness like a second skin. From this emerges a web of possibilities, companions, and projections. The piece explores dream worlds, fed by personal dream experiences, art, and mythology. Bodies become carriers of atmospheres, hints, and fragments of a surreal inner world. In a state of limbo between reality and fantasy, the familiar becomes blurred. Skirts in Fur, Unwinding opens up a space in which poetry and surrealism intertwine, creating a sensitive, multi-layered portrait of inner worlds – sometimes delicate, sometimes powerful, always in dialogue with the unspoken.
