New choreographies by and featuring the ballet company of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz

Fire creates sparks, and those sparks create fire once more. In the production*Sparks*, dancers from the State Theatre on Gärtnerplatz’s ballet company – some of whom are stepping into the role of choreographers for the first time – have created an entirely new evening of dance. Like sparks from a fire, the individual sequences burst forth, illuminating the world for a few minutes before fading away again. Yet in their fleeting existence, they are full of life and energy – and who knows which spark will ignite the next fire?
