On 25 July 2026, starting at 11 am, the United Holobiontic Protection Alliance will hold a collective march to demonstrate for the equal rights of all human and non-human beings and to celebrate the city’s green spaces.

The UHPA advocates for a new relationship with all living things, one that is not characterised by dominance, separation and subjugation, but by an understanding of our mutual dependence and deep interconnectedness.

To highlight the urgency of this issue, a large gathering of holobionts and their supporters will head to several key green spaces in Munich city centre in the summer of 2026 and bring them to life through a series of interventions.

The procession of the holobionts thus acknowledges the great value of these open spaces by walking through them, honouring them and bringing them to life through artistic acts and new rituals (dance, music, song, the sprinkling of water, holobiont invocations).
