Sabine Haß-Zimmermann: Feldenkrais Intensive
“If you know what you’re doing, you can do whatever you want.” – Moshe Feldenkrais
TANZWERKSTATT EUROPA
Dr Moshe Feldenkrais (1904–84), the founder of the method named after him, was a nuclear physicist who conducted research into human neurophysiology and the mechanics of movement.
The Feldenkrais Method stimulates a comprehensive process of development. It is suitable for anyone who wishes to improve their personal quality of life through a physical approach.Under the gentle guidance of Sabine Haß-Zimmermann, participants explore the way they move effortlessly and with focused attention. Consciously sensing subtle differences enables them to recognise ingrained patterns and find alternatives. They learn how to move more easily, functionally, harmoniously and elegantly, thereby expanding their personal scope for action. In this way, the Feldenkrais Method opens up pathways to a more conscious relationship with oneself and to greater flexibility in thinking, feeling and acting.
Sabine Haß studied dance, contact improvisation, acrobatics, singing and drama in Munich and New York. She has performed in numerous international guest performances, collaborated artistically with Micha Purucker for many years and is a member of Tanztendenz München e.V. She completed her Feldenkrais training in Heidelberg, where she subsequently taught on further training programmes herself. Sabine Haß has been teaching contemporary dance and the Feldenkrais Method for 30 years.
