From 30 March to 12 April 2026, eight participants selected by a jury from a large number of applications from local, national and international choreographers will be provided with free studios at Tanztendenz e.V., schwere reiter and through a residency at Tanzprojekt München for rehearsals. This will allow them to work on developing their pieces in an open laboratory under professional conditions and give them the opportunity to test and discuss their work without the constraints of budget and production pressures.

Open Space 2: Sunday, 12 April 2026 at 6 p.m.

Following the performance, there will be an audience discussion with the artists and the presentation of the audience award, which again comes with a three-month working scholarship sponsored by the Norbert Janssen Foundation.
